View original imageShin Hyun-yoon, Honorary Professor at Yonsei University (age 69, photo), was inaugurated as the 12th President of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board on the 16th.
President Shin earned his Ph.D. in Law from the University of Freiburg in Germany. While serving as a professor in the Department of Law at Yonsei University, he held key positions such as Dean of the College of Law, Dean of the Law School, and Vice President for Academic Affairs. He also served as President of the Korean Competition Law Association and the Korean Commercial Law Association, and last year received the 4th Competition Promotion Award hosted by the Korea Competition Forum.
President Shin is expected to lead the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board for three years.
