The Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU) stated on the 14th at the National Assembly regarding the passage of the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol, "Impeachment is only the beginning," adding, "We will steadily stand together on the path to protect democracy and restore the shaken order."

View original imageIn a statement issued that day, the FKTU said, "This is a natural outcome reflecting the will and anger of the people who cannot tolerate a person who committed treason even for a moment in the presidential office," and added, "Not only the Constitutional Court ruling that will finalize the impeachment, but also many tasks remain before us to restore the shaken democracy and take a step forward."
The FKTU emphasized, "Those who committed treason and their accomplices must be held accountable not only before the court of law but also before the court of history and the court of public opinion, so that such incidents never happen again."
