The police announced that they have applied for arrest warrants for Police Chief Jo Ji-ho and Seoul Police Chief Kim Bong-sik in connection with the 'December 3 Emergency Martial Law Incident.'
According to the Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency on the 12th, Chiefs Jo and Kim are suspected of engaging in important duties related to insurrection, such as ordering the restriction of access to the National Assembly on the day of martial law.
According to the police, it was confirmed that three hours before the announcement of martial law, they met with President Yoon Seok-yeol and former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun at the presidential residence in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, where they received instructions related to martial law.
