Prosecutor's Special Unit Expands to 78 Members with 5 Additional Prosecutors and 10 Investigators
The Special Investigation Headquarters for the Prosecution Emergency Martial Law, currently consisting of 63 members and led by Chief Prosecutor Park Se-hyun, will be expanded to 78 members.
On the 11th, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office announced that as of the 12th, it will provide additional support to the Special Investigation Headquarters with 5 prosecutors and 10 prosecution investigators.

View original imageThe prosecution special unit, which initially launched with 20 prosecutors and 30 prosecution investigators, has been joined by 12 personnel from the military prosecution, including 5 military prosecutors, and Deputy Spokesperson Lee Seon-gi of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, currently totaling 63 members.
With the addition of 15 members on the 12th, the special unit will expand to 78 members. Additionally, about 30 more personnel are supporting forensic investigations related to search and seizure operations.
On the morning of the same day, the prosecution special unit conducted a search and seizure of the Army Special Warfare Command, which was involved in the National Assembly control operation during the '12·3 Emergency Martial Law Incident.' Following the previous day, they also continued search and seizure operations at the Defense Counterintelligence Command.
