2024 season Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour Lexus Masters champion Lee Seung-taek is challenging the stage he has dreamed of.
From the 12th (local time) for four days, he will participate in the final stage of the Qualifying (Q) School, the gateway to the PGA Tour, held at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA. It will be played in a 4-round, 72-hole stroke play format. A total of 171 players have entered. If he finishes within a tie for 5th place, he will earn the right to play on the PGA Tour next year.
Lee Seung-taek is a long hitter representing the KPGA Tour. After the Golfzon-Doray Open on the KPGA Tour this season, he ranked 5th in the Genesis Points, earning the right to participate in the second stage of the PGA Tour Q School. On the 6th, at the second stage of the PGA Tour Q School held at Valencia CC in California, USA, he finished tied for 14th place, securing a ticket to the final stage.
Lee Seung-taek expressed confidence, saying, "Now only the final stage remains. The stage I have dreamed of is right in front of me. I will prepare calmly and thoroughly. I believe I can demonstrate sufficient competitiveness."

This Q School also features Bae Sang-moon, No Seung-yeol, and Kim Sung-hyun, who lost their tour cards due to poor performance while playing on the PGA Tour and are aiming for a comeback.
