Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 10th that it held a performance report meeting on the 9th at the Complex Cultural Community Center to celebrate the successful completion of the 'Cultural Content Startup Training Course,' a core project of the pilot area for educational development special zones.

View original imageThis training course is a project that connects the local specialized high school, Korea Culture and Video High School, with the regional university, Dongyang University, to nurture startup talents prepared for future industries through digital media content education such as webtoons, games, and design, and supports them to settle in the region.
This year, the focus was on establishing the basics of Digital Media Creators (DMC) through content education (149 hours), field experience (72 hours), and expert mentoring (6 hours).
Furthermore, in 2025, the program aims to strengthen the capabilities of future talents by operating employment programs linked with industries, expanding the education target, and composing convergence programs with the video field, offering more advanced program operations.
