Support Fund of 9.9 Million Won Delivered for Purchase of Sports Equipment for Ssireum, Volleyball, and Judo Teams

View original imageKorea East-West Power Co., Ltd. Dangjin Power Headquarters announced on the 10th that it had delivered 9.9 million KRW in funding for the purchase of sports equipment for local youth athletes to the Dangjin City Sports Council and others.
With this support, students participating in less popular sports in the Dangjin area, such as Ssireum, weightlifting, boxing, and volleyball, will receive sports equipment including gloves.
In addition, various judo equipment will be provided to the judo teams at Wondang Middle School and Hapdeok Elementary School.
A representative of the Dangjin City Sports Council said, "Thanks to the support from Dangjin Power Headquarters, we are pleased that students and youth athletes participating in sports that typically receive little support can now enjoy athletic activities in a better environment."
Meanwhile, Dangjin Power Headquarters has actively worked to revitalize the local sports ecosystem by sponsoring youth athletes, supporting project expenses for the development of sitting volleyball for people with disabilities in Dangjin, and providing uniforms for the "National Youth Table Tennis Festival with Shin Yubin and Dangjin City."
