Namyangju-si Successfully Completes '2024 Democratic Citizenship Education Instructor Training Course'
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 6th that it successfully completed the '2024 Democratic Citizenship Education Instructor Training Course,' held under the theme of 'Meeting and Change, Autonomy and Cooperation,' with the last class held on the 5th.

View original imageThis instructor training course was designed to cultivate democratic citizens capable of mediating conflicts and managing public forums, and was conducted over four sessions during four weeks from November 14 to December 5.
All trainees completed the education and obtained eligibility to take the certification exam. After passing the exam, they will be issued a Level 3 Democratic Citizenship Education Instructor certificate.
In particular, this education, themed 'Meeting and Cooperation,' facilitated active communication among participants, greatly contributing to strengthening their capabilities as democratic citizens and forming cooperative relationships.
One trainee said, “It was very rewarding to have meaningful conversations with fellow citizens throughout the course,” adding, “Once I receive the certificate, I want to actively work as a facilitator.”
