Jae-Hyun Park, CEO of Hanmi Pharm, and Jong-Hoon Lim, CEO of Hanmi Science, sued for false accusation
Actions Taken Following Hanmi Science's Report Against Hanmi Pharm Management
Jae-hyun Park, CEO of Hanmi Pharm, filed a defamation lawsuit against Jong-hoon Lim, CEO of Hanmi Science, and two others responsible for the accusation work. This action follows Hanmi Science's recent accusation of Hanmi Pharm's management for breach of trust and other charges.
According to Hanmi Pharm on the 6th, CEO Park submitted a complaint to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul against CEO Lim and those responsible for the accusation work. In the complaint, CEO Park's side stated that Lim's claim that "excessive commissions were paid to a specific pharmaceutical wholesaler" is unfounded, asserting that "apart from applying the usual discount rate on drug supply prices as with ordinary pharmaceutical sales agencies, no separate commissions were paid."
Furthermore, regarding the allegation that CEO Park obtained insider information about the integration of OCI Group and Hanmi Pharm Group and purchased Hanmi Science shares to gain unfair profits, it was clearly stated that "he (CEO Park) neither obtained such information nor performed any duties that would allow him to acquire such information."

The timing of CEO Park's purchase of Hanmi Science shares was immediately after last year's shareholder value enhancement activities, during which an internal campaign for executives to buy company shares was conducted and publicly disclosed through a press release. Among several executives who purchased shares as part of this campaign, only CEO Park was singled out and accused of unfairly profiting by using undisclosed information.
