Daejeon City's Local Agricultural Products Joint Brand 'Daejeon Farm' Selected
Safe and Excellent Eco-Friendly and GAP Certification... Only for Processed Agricultural Products
Daejeon City announced that it has selected a new regional agricultural product joint brand, "Daejeon Farm."
The city began developing the new trademark in May, and based on the results of a commissioned study, held expert discussions and conducted a preference survey targeting 2,500 people, including consumers, producers, and citizens, ultimately selecting "Daejeon Farm" as the joint brand for regional agricultural products.
The "Daejeon Farm" design symbolically expresses the health and abundance of everyone through the harmonious combination of Daejeon's fresh agricultural products. It also highlights the value and pride of Daejeon food, grown with care and love in a pristine natural environment.
Going forward, the city plans to establish relevant regulations regarding the use of the joint brand and quality standards. The "Daejeon Farm" brand will be applied to safe and high-quality agricultural products, such as those certified as eco-friendly, GAP (Good Agricultural Practices), and processed agricultural foods.
Mayor Lee Jangwoo said, "By promoting the regional agricultural product joint brand 'Daejeon Farm,' we will raise consumer awareness and secure competitiveness," adding, "We will also strive to enhance the image of Daejeon City's agricultural products through systematic quality management."
