A space will be created in Hambak Village, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon to help multicultural foreigners settle into Korean life and serve as a hub for coexistence between locals and foreigners.
On the 4th, Yeonsu-gu held a groundbreaking ceremony for the 'Hambak Village Coexistence Exchange Center' attended by about 100 people, including Yeonsu-gu Mayor Lee Jae-ho, heads of self-governing organizations, and residents.

View original imageThe Hambak Village Coexistence Exchange Center will be built on a site at 529 Yeonsu-dong with a total project cost of approximately 4.9 billion KRW. It will be a building with one basement floor and four above-ground floors, covering a total area of 1,413㎡. The center is scheduled for completion in October next year and will include the Yeonsu-gu Family Center (Multicultural Support Team), program rooms, and a multipurpose conference room.
