Daedong Hospital Achieves Highest Grade in Integrated Nursing and Care Service Performance Evaluation
Daedong Hospital (Director Lee Kwang-jae) received the highest grade, S grade, in the ‘2024 Integrated Nursing and Care Service Performance Evaluation’ conducted by the National Health Insurance Service.
The National Health Insurance Service conducts an annual performance evaluation to expand the Integrated Nursing and Care Service project and improve the quality of nursing services. Based on the evaluation results, incentives are distributed differentially to improve the working environment and treatment of nursing staff, encouraging the provision of better nursing services to patients.
This evaluation was conducted based on indicators such as ▲participation in evaluation ▲participation in the project ▲improvement in nursing staff treatment ▲appropriateness of integrated nursing and care services. Daedong Hospital scored 94.43 points, earning the highest S grade.
The Integrated Nursing and Care Service is a system where nurses and nursing assistants provide professional nursing services 24 hours a day to hospitalized patients, reducing the burden of care by eliminating the need for caregivers to stay with the patient or hire private caregivers. Professional nursing staff monitor the patient’s condition 24 hours a day and provide necessary nursing services.
Jung Mi-jin, head of nursing at Daedong Hospital, said, “The nursing staff of the Integrated Nursing and Care Service provided patient-centered nursing services and continuously conducted education and improvement activities to strengthen their capabilities, resulting in achieving the highest grade. We will continue to develop and grow to provide high-quality medical services to patients visiting Daedong Hospital.”
