View original imageThe agricultural corporation Misomi Co., Ltd. in Dangjin, Chungnam held a shipping ceremony on the 4th to commemorate the overseas export of 32 tons of Dangjin new crop rice.
The shipping ceremony was held at Misomi Co., Ltd., with officials from Dangjin City and employees of Misomi Co., Ltd. in attendance.
At the ceremony, Lee Taeho, CEO of Misomi Co., Ltd., said, "We will continue to pioneer more overseas markets and enhance the reputation of Dangjin rice."
A city official stated, "Dangjin rice has already been recognized for its quality both domestically and internationally," and promised, "We will continue to provide support for sustainable agricultural development and expanded exports."
Meanwhile, the newly harvested rice being exported this time amounts to 32 tons, with 10 tons going to Singapore and 22 tons to the Netherlands. The cumulative export volume this year has reached 157 tons to the Netherlands, UAE, Mongolia, Singapore, and other countries.
