Muan County Council (Chairman Lee Hoseong) issued a statement on the 3rd condemning President Yoon Seok-yeol's declaration of an unconstitutional emergency martial law.
On the 4th, the council stated in the declaration, "Emergency martial law should only be enacted in extremely exceptional situations to maintain national security and order, so this declaration of emergency martial law is clearly for political purposes."
