The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 4th that it will operate the 'Goodbye 2024 100,000 Steps Walking Challenge' as a healthy family healthy lifestyle practice campaign to mark the end of 2024.

View original imageThis challenge was planned to encourage citizens to reorganize the health goals they set at the beginning of the year while wrapping up 2024 and to participate again in walking exercises. It will be held for 15 days from the 5th to the 19th through the WalkOn app.
To participate in the challenge, install the WalkOn app, join the community 'Enjoyable Walking, Happier Healthy Life,' and complete 100,000 steps during the challenge period.
Any Guri citizen can participate, and 100 people who achieve the goal will be selected by lottery to receive mobile beverage coupons.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri said, "I hope a healthy walking culture will be established in the local community through the steady habit of walking to protect the health of your precious family," and added, "Please wear hats and gloves to prepare for the cold weather and be sure to do warm-up exercises before walking."
