Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 4th that on the 3rd, Oh Hu-seok, Deputy Governor of Gyeonggi Province for Administrative Affairs, Lee Chung-woo, Mayor of Yeoju, Park Doo-hyung, Chairman of Yeoju City Council, and about 10 others visited the damage site of a dairy farm in Daesin-myeon to inspect the damage situation and discuss support measures for the farms.

View original imageThis site visit was conducted to directly listen to the difficulties of the affected farms and to prepare prompt recovery support plans. Deputy Governor Oh carefully toured the damage site and meticulously checked the damage status and recovery progress of the livestock farms. Deputy Governor Oh promised, “We will spare no administrative and financial support at the Gyeonggi Province level to help livestock farms recover quickly.”
Yeoju City received damage reports amounting to approximately 7.4 billion KRW in the agricultural sector and 5.5 billion KRW in the livestock sector due to the heavy snowfall from the 27th to the 28th of last month. The damage amount is expected to increase based on additional investigations being conducted by each eup, myeon, and dong.
