Korea Federation of SMEs Holds '2024 5th Senior Committee Regular Meeting'
Senior SME Leader to Support Development of Cooperatives and Small Businesses
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 4th that it held the '2024 5th Regular Meeting of the Senior Committee' at Baekrihyang in Yeouido. The Senior Committee is a special committee of Kbiz launched in May 2019, consisting of 29 former and current senior chairpersons of small and medium enterprise cooperatives. Based on their extensive experience contributing to cooperatives and SMEs, they provide advice for the development of cooperatives and small and medium enterprises.
Kim Ki-moon, President of Kbiz, said, “I ask for the continued valuable advice of the senior members of the SME community in 2025, the Year of the Eulsa, to support Kbiz as it constantly communicates with the National Assembly and government to resolve SME issues.”
Kwon Hyuk-hong, Chairman of the Senior Committee, stated, “Since the Senior Committee is composed of industry leaders who have operated SMEs for a long time, we will support Kbiz to help improve various policy issues and take the lead in social contributions to serve as role models for younger SME entrepreneurs.”
