Dongducheon-si Health Center Holds 2nd Regular Meeting of Malaria Eradication Task Force

View original imageThe Malaria Eradication Task Force consists of 10 members from related organizations including the Dongducheon Medical Association, Dongducheon Pharmaceutical Association, Dongducheon Jungang St. Mary's Hospital, Dongducheon Yangju Office of Education, Shinhan University, military units, and the Saemaeul Movement Dongducheon Branch.
At the regular meeting, the task force reviewed the city's malaria eradication project progress for 2024 and discussed the direction of quarantine efforts for 2025.
In particular, in response to the recent increase in malaria mosquito vectors and confirmed cases due to abnormal climate conditions (subtropicalization), the city decided to strengthen malaria prevention publicity activities and enhance the cooperation system among related organizations.
