LS Securities Executes Organizational Restructuring... Focus on Strengthening Corporate Finance
CEO Direct Corporate Finance Division Elevated to IB1 Division
Existing IB Division Reorganized as IB2 Division
IB2 Division to Handle Real Estate Finance
LS Securities has carried out an organizational restructuring focused on strengthening corporate finance.
LS Securities announced on the 3rd that it will implement an organizational restructuring effective from the 9th to enhance business competitiveness and improve efficiency.
In this restructuring, LS Securities has elevated the corporate finance division to the IB1 Business Unit and organized the Corporate Finance Headquarters and Comprehensive Finance Headquarters under it. This change comes about five months after the corporate finance division was placed directly under the CEO. The plan is to raise the status of the organization and cultivate corporate solution capabilities to further strengthen sales power. The existing IB Business Unit will be reorganized into the IB2 Business Unit and will be responsible for real estate finance operations.
In the Retail Business Unit, a new Digital Sales Headquarters Director has been appointed to strengthen leadership and expertise. Through this, the company aims to expand digital business capabilities and respond to the rapidly changing retail sales environment. In the Sales & Trading Business Unit, the Multi Strategy Headquarters and Equity Management Headquarters under it have been integrated and reorganized.
Along with the organizational restructuring, LS Securities has also made executive personnel changes. Moon Hyung-dong, Executive Director and former head of the Corporate Finance Headquarters, will serve as the head of the IB1 Business Unit, and Jeong Jae-wook, Managing Director and head of the PF Headquarters, will take charge of the IB2 Business Unit.
Oh Eung-jin, Executive Director and former head of the Wholesale Business Unit, will be reassigned as head of the Retail Business Unit, and Yoon Won-jae, Managing Director and former head of the Global Sales Headquarters, will be appointed as head of the Wholesale Business Unit.
