View original imageOn the 2nd, the city held a kickoff meeting for the research project "Pocheon City Drone Leisure Industry Development Plan" in the city hall conference room, discussing the development direction and execution strategies for the drone leisure industry.
The meeting was attended by Baek Young-hyun, Mayor of Pocheon, Kim Nam-hyun, Director of Population Growth Bureau, and key department officials.
This research project aims to explore the development potential of the drone leisure industry by utilizing Pocheon's geographical advantages, natural environment, and tourism resources, targeting tangible outcomes such as developing new business models combining drone leisure sports and tourism.
In particular, major tasks included developing drone tourism content linked to the Hantangang UNESCO Global Geopark, attracting projects for establishing a drone demonstration city, and formulating strategies to revitalize the local economy, reflecting the potential of the drone industry and Pocheon's unique regional characteristics.
