It provides a total of 136 welfare information items according to life stages, including pregnancy and childbirth (support for prenatal fetal anomaly tests, childbirth congratulatory money, etc.), infants and toddlers (Dongjak-style childcare helpers, Childcare Support Center, etc.), children and adolescents (Dongjak Admission Support Center, Dream Start project, etc.), youth and middle-aged adults (Yangnyeong Youth Housing, free health checkups for single-person households in Dongjak, etc.), and seniors (Dementia Relief Center, senior job and social activity support, etc.).
Additionally, it classifies target groups into persons with disabilities (Dongjak Happiness Card, disability-friendly beauty salons, etc.), national veterans (veteran honor allowances, funeral supplies support for veterans, etc.), and low-income groups (Dongjak Companion Network, Dongjak Food Bank Market, etc.), providing information on a total of 76 projects.
The guidebook details the eligibility criteria and application methods for these projects, allowing users to grasp the information at a glance. Furthermore, through the comprehensive guidebook, the district actively promotes representative Dongjak-gu projects such as the ‘Filial Piety Series’ (call center, call taxi, laundry, injections, oriental medicine) to help residents receive the welfare services they need in a timely manner.
‘Dongjak Almyun Bokji’ can be easily downloaded from the district office and local welfare facility websites, and accessed via QR codes available at all departments, community service centers, and welfare facilities. The district plans to update the welfare information for 2025 early next year and redistribute it online.
