Krafton Establishes 'Injoy Studio'... Appoints PD Kim Hyung-jun as New CEO
"Full Effort on Enjoy Development... Targeting Early Access Release in March Next Year"
Krafton announced on the 3rd that it has established a new corporation, inZOI Studio, and appointed Kim Hyung-jun PD, the general director of inZOI, as the CEO.
inZOI Studio is a studio primarily composed of the new CEO Kim and the development team of inZOI. The company name, inZOI Studio, was inspired by inZOI, which is scheduled for early access release in March next year.
inZOI is a game that implements various life stories, characterized by realistic graphics and deep simulation. Krafton's AI technologies, such as chatbot functions utilizing Small Language Models (SLM) and 3D printer technology, are also planned to be introduced. A demo version was unveiled this year at Steam, Gamescom, and G-Star, receiving great interest and attention from global users due to its high degree of creative freedom and other features.
Krafton explained, "Like our existing studios, we established this studio to strengthen the independence of the development organization and support them to focus on game development."
With this establishment, inZOI Studio became Krafton's 14th creative studio. inZOI Studio plans to build an efficient organizational system to accelerate the development speed of inZOI and further enhance its completeness.
Also, in line with Krafton's management strategy, ‘Scale-up the Creative,’ the studio will continuously develop creative and original creations, including inZOI.
