Suwon City Inspects 277 Public Facilities... Until January 20 Next Year
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will conduct safety inspections of public facilities to prevent major citizen disasters.
On the 3rd, Suwon City announced that it will inspect 277 facilities under the jurisdiction of 8 departments, offices, business sites, and district offices in Suwon City by January 20 next year.
The main inspection targets are facilities such as bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, and public facilities including cultural, sports, welfare, and commercial facilities.
The inspection begins with the facility management department conducting a self-inspection of the facilities and preparing a facility management card and safety inspection checklist, which are then submitted to the general department. Based on this, the general department plans to review and inspect compliance performance and improvement measures.

A Suwon City official stated, "As interest and concerns about safety have increased, thorough management is necessary to prevent safety accidents among users of public facilities such as bridges and underpasses," adding, "We will do our best to fulfill safety and health obligations so that citizens can trust and use the facilities."
