KB Kookmin Bank, Credit Guarantee Foundation Central Association 3 Billion Special Contribution Support
KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 2nd that it has made a special contribution of 3 billion KRW to the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund to support small business owners and self-employed individuals facing difficulties in overcoming their crises.
This special contribution targets self-employed individuals who have received consulting and obtained recommendation letters from the 'KB SOHO Consulting Center.' Regional credit guarantee foundations offer preferential treatment by increasing the guarantee limit calculated through guarantee screening up to 150% of a maximum of 100 million KRW, and also apply a preferential guarantee fee rate of 0.8% or less per annum.
Until March, KB Kookmin Bank contributed 5 billion KRW and provided financial support worth 75 billion KRW, and with this special contribution, it plans to continue additional loan support amounting to 47.3 billion KRW.
A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, "Every time we meet small business owners and self-employed individuals who say that KB SOHO Consulting has helped their business operations, we feel pride and fulfillment," adding, "We will continue to actively support them through financial and non-financial services that provide practical assistance."

Meanwhile, the 'KB SOHO Consulting Center' is a non-financial service that provides management and financial support know-how, first launched in September 2016 as the first of its kind in the banking sector. It offers various management consulting services in areas such as commercial district analysis, taxation, and legal affairs at 13 centers nationwide, including the Yeouido HUB Center. To date, it has provided a total of approximately 49,000 free consulting sessions to strengthen the business competitiveness of small business owners and the self-employed.
