Tian Haitao (田海?), Director of the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Comprehensive Pilot Zone, Ha Seongju, Consul General of the Korean Consulate in Wuhan, and Kim Taeyong, Director of the Zhengzhou Korea Trade Center, also participated.
At the opening ceremony, Kim Myungjin, President of the MainBiz Association, stated, “If Korean and Chinese companies expand mutual exchange and cooperation, it will greatly contribute to building supply chains for global market entry as well as the industrial and economic development of both countries,” adding, “I hope this forum will serve as a stepping stone for the co-growth of Korean and Chinese companies.”
During the forum, Korean and Chinese companies were matched by five sectors (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, and others), facilitating exchange consultations on market development, technology exchange, and investment attraction for each company’s products.
Through the exchange forum, 43 export consultations were conducted on-site, and among them, 14 business agreements including Mothers Pharmaceutical were signed in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, food, and others.
Two plaque unveiling ceremonies for Korea-China exchange cooperation were also held. One was for the “Korea-China (Zhengzhou Airport) International Cooperation Industrial Complex,” which can promote cooperation between Korean and Chinese companies within the Zhengzhou Airport, and the other was for the “Korea-China Business Platform (Liaison Office).”
The “Korea-China Business Platform” plaque unveiling ceremony was the result of the “2024 MainBiz Trade Delegation” visiting the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Comprehensive Pilot Zone last August and signing a “Business Meeting Platform Establishment Agreement.” It was carried out with plans to open the “Korea Management Innovation Small and Medium Business Association Zhengzhou Airport Office” in Zhengzhou Airport, China, and the “China Henan Province Zhengzhou Airport Korea Representative Office” at the Korean MainBiz Association.
