Managers of the Villa Management Office, hired by the district, patrol each business area to provide services such as cleaning, safety patrols, facility maintenance, and parking management, improving the residential environment and contributing to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
Since March last year, a pilot operation was conducted targeting 694 households in Beon 1-dong, recording a high satisfaction rate of 94% in a survey of residents. Building on the success of the Beon 1-dong pilot area operation, the district expanded the Villa Management Offices to two locations in July, covering the Mia-Songjung-dong area and the Suyu 2-dong area, with plans to extend the project throughout Gangbuk-gu in the future.
The Villa Management Office project received favorable evaluations for deeply reflecting on local issues and presenting customized alternatives that overcome budget and personnel limitations through policy ideas, achieving improvements in the residential environment.
Mayor Lee Soon-hee said, “I am very pleased that our district’s efforts to guarantee everyone’s right to enjoy a pleasant residential environment were recognized through this policy conference,” and added, “We will continue to strive to discover and implement policies and projects that empower residents’ lives.”
