Yangju-si, Recruiting Participants for the '2025 First Half Hope Together Job Project'
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 2nd that it will recruit participants for the '2025 First Half Hope Companion (formerly Public Work) Job Project' from the 9th to the 20th.
This project was prepared to overcome the employment crisis and promote livelihood stability by providing short-term public jobs to vulnerable groups such as low-income earners and long-term unemployed individuals.
Eligible participants are Yangju citizens aged 18 or older with work ability, whose household property total?including land, housing, and automobiles based on resident registration?is 400 million KRW or less, and whose income is 70% or less of the median income.
The total number of recruits is 63, covering five fields including administrative support, civil service guidance, and environmental cleanup. The project period is about five months, from February 3 to June 30, 2025.
Detailed information can be found in the announcement posted on the Yangju City Hall website, and citizens wishing to participate can apply by visiting the administrative welfare center in their local eup, myeon, or dong with their ID during the recruitment period.
The selection results will be announced at the end of January 2025 after a comprehensive review of income, property, and other requirements.

A Yangju City official stated, "Following the project in the second half of last year, we hope this will be a job opportunity that helps vulnerable citizens such as low-income earners and the long-term unemployed," and added, "We will actively strive to promote the project to overcome the employment crisis and stabilize livelihoods."
