Kim Dong-yeon 'The War with Snow Continues'... Urgent Field Visits to Pyeongtaek and Anseong on the 2nd
Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon will make an urgent field visit on the 2nd to the heavy snow damage areas of Pyeongtaek and Anseong.
The first destination is the site of the destroyed vinyl greenhouse in Habuk-ri, Jinwi-myeon, Pyeongtaek City, where cherry tomatoes were being cultivated. Governor Kim Dong-yeon left the Gyeonggi Provincial Office at 8 a.m. for the field visit.
Following the visit to Pyeongtaek, Governor Kim plans to visit the collapsed factory site and nearby livestock barn destruction site in Bogae-myeon, Anseong City.

View original imageKang Min-seok, spokesperson for Gyeonggi Province, explained, "Among the four directives issued by Governor Kim Dong-yeon when he declared a ‘war against the snow,’ the last was to ‘conduct a survey on small business owners and others affected by economic activities and devise support measures.’ Governor Kim left for the field to directly assess the damage and take care of the lives of the residents."
Earlier, on the 28th of last month, Governor Kim visited Dokkaebi Market in Uiwang City and the Agricultural and Marine Products Wholesale Market in Anyang City, which suffered significant damage from the heavy snow, to encourage residents and inspect the damage situation on site.
