Suwon City Supports Payment Fees for Small Businesses Using 'Suwon Pay'... 22,800 Locations
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will support payment fees for 20,280 small business merchants affiliated with Suwon Pay.
The support targets include ▲merchants with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less ▲discount merchants offering additional discounts or coupons when paying with Suwon Pay ▲Suwon City's Good Price Stores, Baeknyeon Gage (Century-old Stores) ▲2023 Suwon City Model Small Business Merchants and merchants awarded for development contributions.
Suwon City will pay a total of 175.66 million KRW in card fees for Suwon Pay payments made by these businesses from January to June this year.
Since 2022, Suwon City has been supporting card payment fees for small business merchants affiliated with Suwon Pay to reduce the payment fee burden on small business owners and to promote the use of Suwon Pay.
The payment fees will be deposited into the merchants' Hana Card payment accounts on the 5th. No separate application for support is required.

A Suwon City official said, "We hope that supporting Suwon Pay payment fees will alleviate the economic burden on small business owners even a little," and added, "We will make further efforts to promote the use of Suwon Pay."
