Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 28th that the ‘2024 Yangju Industrial Complex Investment Briefing’ held at the ‘Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center’ in the city attracted over 200 company representatives and investors, achieving great success.

In particular, Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City directly presented the city’s investment attractiveness for its leap as a high-tech industrial hub, drawing the attention of attendees.
On the day, Mayor Kang said, “Our Yangju City, which has an industrial complex centered on advanced technology, will establish itself as a key hub in the northern metropolitan area,” adding, “We will spare no effort to create an environment where research and development and innovation can actively take place within Gyeonggi Yangju Technovalley, and to provide various support so that companies can grow stably.”
He continued, “The ‘Eunnam General Industrial Complex’ is the best logistics and transportation hub in the metropolitan area, with advantages such as low development costs and land purchase support,” emphasizing, “We will continue full support so that it can become the central axis of industry in northern Gyeonggi.”
Additionally, he detailed the city’s transportation and logistics infrastructure (such as the Metropolitan Area 2nd Ring Expressway, GTX-C line), sustainable industrial ecosystem, and investment incentive policies, expressing, “A bright future can be envisioned by partnering with Yangju City.”
According to the city, 23 new investment companies submitted letters of intent at this briefing, with the investment scale totaling 203.5 billion KRW.
This is evaluated by Yangju City as a result demonstrating companies’ trust in the strategic investment attraction policies and the region’s growth potential.
Going forward, Yangju City plans to communicate more closely with the target companies based on the submitted letters of intent and prepare concrete early settlement cooperation plans.
