View original imageThe Goyang Tap Water Evaluation Committee has been operating since 1992 and consists of 10 experts and citizens who have a strong interest in water quality and possess extensive knowledge and experience. The committee works to ensure the supply of clean and safe tap water through regular water quality inspections, public announcements, and advisory services on the overall operation of water supply facilities.
The meeting proceeded with reports on the major achievements and project progress of the water supply in 2024, discussions on promotional materials to improve public awareness of tap water, plans for the future operation of the Tap Water Evaluation Committee, followed by Q&A and open discussion.
The committee members agreed on the need to develop various measures such as promoting the safety of tap water and expanding the scope and targets of management to alleviate distrust and increase the consumption rate of tap water.
