This partial temporary opening, connected to the Seokdong Tunnel opened in March this year, is expected to significantly improve the traffic environment in downtown Jinhae by dispersing urban traffic.
When the remaining section is completed in the first half of next year, it is expected to enhance accessibility from downtown Jinhae to surrounding urban areas, as well as shorten travel distances to logistics hubs such as Jinhae New Port and Gadukdo New Airport, contributing to improved competitiveness in the logistics industry through reduced logistics costs.
Additionally, before the partial opening, Vice Mayor Jo Myung-rae personally visited the site to inspect traffic safety and check the progress of construction on the remaining section.

Vice Mayor Jo stated, “Since the connection to Pungho-dong will not be completed during this partial opening, there may be some inconvenience around the intersections, and we ask for the citizens’ understanding. We will strive to open the entire section by the first half of next year to ensure that citizens do not experience any inconvenience.”
