Yeoju City Supports Brokerage Fees up to 300,000 KRW for Basic Livelihood Security Recipients
Real Estate Brokerage Fee Support Program to Reduce Transaction Cost Burden
Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 28th that it will implement the 'Real Estate Brokerage Fee Support Project' to ensure housing stability for low-income residents. This project is a system that supports brokerage fees incurred when recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security Program buy or sell a house or sign a lease contract for monthly or yearly rent, providing up to 300,000 KRW from provincial funds.
The support target is recipients of the Basic Livelihood Security Program who have their address registered in Yeoju City, and applications must be submitted within two years from the date of the real estate contract.
To receive support for brokerage fees, applicants must complete the required documents and submit them to the relevant Eup, Myeon, or Dong Administrative Welfare Center or the Yeoju City Civil Affairs and Land Department.
A Yeoju City official stated, “The Real Estate Brokerage Fee Support Project aims to promote housing stability,” and added, “We will actively promote the program so that more residents can benefit.”
