Yangsan City Council Operations Committee Opens the 1st Meeting of the 2nd Regular Session of the 202nd Assembly

The Council Steering Committee of Yangsan City Council in Gyeongnam (Chairman Kim Seok-gyu) convened the 1st Council Steering Committee meeting on the 27th.
At the 1st Council Steering Committee meeting, 12 ordinance proposals including the "Ordinance to Support the Improvement of Integrity of Yangsan City Council" and 2 rule proposals including the "Partial Amendment to the Rules of Procedure of Yangsan City Council" were reviewed and resolved.
The main agenda items reviewed were the "Ordinance to Support the Improvement of Integrity of Yangsan City Council," enacted to prevent corruption and foster a culture of integrity in the city council; the "Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on Council Activity Expenses, Monthly Allowances, and Travel Expenses of Yangsan City Council," which includes provisions restricting payment of council activity expenses to disciplined council members; the "Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Code of Ethics and Ethical Practice Norms for Yangsan City Council Members," which explicitly defines violations of the code of ethics as grounds for disciplinary action; the "Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of Various Committees of Yangsan City Council," for the installation and management of committees under the council; and the "Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Formation and Operation of Negotiation Groups of Yangsan City Council," which establishes the basis for supporting negotiation groups.
