Dongducheon-si Completes Public Parking Lot Construction in Saengyeon-ro Area
Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyeong-deok) announced on the 28th that it has completed the construction of a public parking lot in the Saengyeon-ro area.

View original imageThe public parking lot in the Saengyeon-ro area is located at 818-11 Saengyeon-dong (behind Pyeongnam Myeonok) with a site area of 791㎡ and a total of 19 parking spaces (18 general spaces and 1 for the disabled). The project was completed with an investment of 1.6 billion KRW.
This parking lot construction is expected to help alleviate parking difficulties in the Saengyeon-ro area and improve the parking environment in the old downtown, thereby enhancing convenience for citizens and revitalizing the commercial district.
Dongducheon City plans to start charging fees for the parking lot from December and operate it normally.

Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon City stated, “We will expand the installation of parking lots within the city, including the parking lot in front of Hwaseong Mansion and the parking lot in front of Jungang Market, as soon as possible to resolve downtown parking difficulties and secure parking spaces.” He added, “Furthermore, the city will continue to make efforts to improve citizens' transportation convenience and revitalize the old downtown commercial district.”
