Partial Power Outage in Ahyeon, Yeomni, and Seongsan-dong, Mapo-gu Due to Heavy Snow... District Mayor Park Gang-su Conducts Emergency On-Site Inspection
At around 6:50 a.m. on the 28th, heavy snowfall overnight caused trees to break and damage high-voltage power lines, resulting in power outages in some areas including Ahyeon-dong, Yeomni-dong, and Seongsan-dong in Mapo-gu.
Park Gang-su, the mayor of Mapo-gu, immediately visited the site to assess the situation after receiving a report of the power outage from the Mapo-gu duty office.
At the site, Mayor Park received a situation report from Korea Electric Power Corporation officials and requested prompt restoration work, personally inspecting the recovery efforts.
Currently, power has been restored in the Seongsan-dong area, and restoration in the remaining areas is expected to be completed by the morning.
