It aims to provide attractions for winter tourists and locals returning to their hometowns.
County Governor Son Byung-bok said, “At the Insect Ecology Center, you can see various insects and rare creatures, as well as the entire lifecycle of butterflies from egg-laying to growth. Especially in the four-season Butterfly Ecology Center, since butterflies are more active on clear days, you can see more splendid butterfly flights from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on sunny days.”
Wangpicheon Park offers various experiences including the Winter Ice Pavilion (ice rink scheduled from 2024.12.21 to 2025.2.28), cable car, aquarium, safety experience center, and other activity centers such as traditional salt making, woodworking experience, and pottery experience.
