Year-End Concert with Film Music
Yeoju Philharmonic Orchestra (Representative Lee Jeong-ye, Director Park Young-gyu) announced on the 26th that it will hold a year-end concert titled ‘FILM MUSIC CONCERT’ at 5 PM on December 7th at Sejong Gugakdang. This concert will be held free of charge so that any citizen can participate, with the theme of familiar music from movies to celebrate the end of the year.

View original imageThe performance program will begin with the OST ‘Cinema Paradiso’ from the movie Cinema Paradiso, followed by ‘Pomp and Circumstance March’ featured in Kingsman, the OST ‘We Are the Champions’ from Bohemian Rhapsody, ‘Hey Jude’ from the movie Across the Universe, ‘Waltz No. 2’ from the movie Bungee Jumping of Their Own, the famous piece ‘Belt of Faith’ from the movie Parasite, ‘Russian Dance’ from Home Alone, ‘Over the Rainbow’ from The Wizard of Oz, and ‘Raiders March’ from the Indiana Jones OST. The selection covers songs spanning from classic memorable films to recent movies, creating a concert that anyone in the audience can relate to across generations.
In particular, this performance will feature a collaboration with saxophonist Choi Jeong-seop performing the masterpieces ‘We Are the Champions’ and ‘Hey Jude,’ making the concert even richer and more engaging for the citizens.

Since its founding in 2018, the Yeoju Philharmonic Orchestra has been actively performing, holding regular concerts each year with various genres as themes. Park Young-gyu, director of the Yeoju Philharmonic Orchestra, stated, “This year has been a meaningful year where we could grow further by communicating with citizens through diverse concert themes and programs.
