Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) signed a business agreement with the Korea Angel Investment Association (Chairman Ko Young-ha) on the 26th in the mayor's office to promote "Angel Investment and Startup Ecosystem Activation."

View original imageThe Korea Angel Investment Association, established in 2012 with permission from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is an organization that has created a virtuous cycle venture investment ecosystem by expanding the base of angel investment through fostering angel investors and building networks between investors and startup companies.
According to the agreement, both organizations will work together on ▲ cooperation for angel investment and startup activation in Uijeongbu City ▲ support for startup company development and startup-related programs ▲ promotion of linkage with infrastructure related to angel investment and startups.
In particular, starting with this agreement, they plan to operate joint programs to nurture angel investors in the region and discover and foster excellent startup companies.
