Seodaemun-gu to Hold Human Rights Exhibition and Care Human Rights Education Next Month
Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced on the 26th that it will hold the '2024 Seodaemun-gu Human Rights Exhibition and Care Human Rights Education.' The 'Human Rights Exhibition' will be held from the 2nd to the 13th of next month in the lobby on the first floor of the district office, and the 'Human Rights Education' will take place on the 4th of next month from 2 to 4 p.m. in the large conference room on the third floor of the district office.
At the 'Human Rights Exhibition,' visitors can appreciate 15 works by artist An Seonhwa under the title 'Human Rights Encountered through Pop-up Books (Three-dimensional Picture Books).'

View original imageDuring the exhibition period, anyone can visit on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for December 6th due to an event.
At the 'Human Rights Education,' artist An Seonhwa will introduce her human rights exhibition works, and Ryu Eunsuk, head of the Human Rights Research Institute 'Chang,' will give a lecture on 'Care Human Rights and Application of Human Rights Monitoring.' Sign language interpretation will be provided, and a Q&A session will also be arranged.
This education is aimed at members of the 'Seodaemun-gu Human Rights Residents' Council,' general residents, and related public officials. The district office plans to post a webbook containing the works from this human rights exhibition and educational materials on the district office website's 'Notices' section after the 4th of next month, so that anyone can download and refer to the related content.
