Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 25th that it will hold a "Special Exhibition of Author Han Kang" at Yangju City Library until the end of December to commemorate author Han Kang's 2024 Nobel Prize in Literature, which newly established the status of Korean literature.

View original imageThis special exhibition was prepared to celebrate author Han Kang as the first Asian woman and the first Korean to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature, and to widely promote the author's literary world to students and local residents.
The special exhibition will be held in the lobby on the 4th floor of Yangju City Hall and at 10 locations of Yangju City Library.
Seventeen works representing author Han Kang's literary world, including her representative works "The Vegetarian" and "The Boy is Coming," will be exhibited, and any visitor can read the works within the facilities.
