The Administrative Mutual Aid Association Successfully Concludes the eSports Festival '2024 LOL Game Championship'
eSports Festival for the MZ Generation
The Administrative Mutual Aid Association announced on the 25th that it successfully held its first eSports tournament targeting MZ generation members, the first among public institutions, over two days starting from the 23rd. The tournament centered around the popular game League of Legends (LOL) and was held at the Daejeon eSports stadium Dream Arena with active cooperation from the Daejeon Metropolitan City Hall's Cultural Contents Division.
The main matches took place over two days from November 23rd, with about 700 participants from 128 teams competing in the qualifiers. A total of 16 teams advanced to the final round, engaging in fierce competition. Approximately 100 spectators attended the tournament and events on-site. In addition to the matches, various souvenirs and prize money were provided, encouraging enthusiastic participation from the contestants.

This tournament is regarded as a new initiative targeting the MZ generation, including newly appointed public officials. Kim Jang-hoe, Chairman of the Administrative Mutual Aid Association, stated, "We hope the participants gained enjoyable experiences through the eSports tournament, and we will continue to organize events that allow diverse generations to participate together."
