Jinju City Hosts 'TCG Festival' at Jungang Market Bidan-gil Youth Mall
Expecting Commercial Area Revitalization Through Population Influx via TCG and Game Experiences
Jinju City in Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that it successfully held the TCG Festival at the Bidan-gil Youth Mall inside Jungang Market, attended by about 100 TCG (Trading Card Game) players.
TCG is a game enjoyed by various age groups, involving collecting and exchanging cards and strategically using them. The strategy and thrill hidden in each card have established TCG not just as a simple game but as a culture.
The event was hosted by the TCG & Board Game Association with the aim of spreading positive awareness of TCG games and revitalizing the central commercial district by attracting people. In addition to matches, there were beginner workshops and friendly tournaments of popular TCGs such as One Piece, Digimon, and Holoraid, further increasing visitors' interest.
In particular, the organizers contributed to the revitalization of the commercial district by providing participants with lunch vouchers usable at restaurants located in the central commercial area on the day of the event.
