Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Seo Tae-won) announced on the 22nd that it will promote the ‘2024 Year-End Gyeonggi Revitalization Big Sale’ event, selected through the Gyeonggi Market and Commercial District Promotion Agency’s public contest, in collaboration with the Small Business Federation, traditional markets, and alleyway commercial district merchant associations.

This event was planned to stimulate consumption in traditional markets and alleyway commercial districts and to invigorate the local economy during the year-end season. It consists of discount benefits and prize events that both local residents and tourists can participate in, aiming to increase sales for local small business owners and revitalize traditional markets.


The event will involve the Gapyeong-gun Small Business Federation, major traditional markets, and the 1939 Eumakyeok Merchant Association. During the event period, giveaways, payback promotions, various prize drawings, and cultural performances will be held, with specific programs varying by merchant association.


Shin Sung-chul, Director of the Small Business Support Division, said, “This event is part of efforts to revitalize small businesses and traditional markets, providing enjoyment and benefits to both residents and tourists. We hope many residents participate to create a warm and lively year-end together.”
