This training was conducted by inviting a professional instructor from the Korean Red Cross and targeted subway station staff. It provided practical and vivid instruction on various emergency treatment methods that may occur in the field, including CPR theory and practice, use of automated external defibrillators, and how to respond to airway obstruction.
In particular, not only station staff responsible for safety management on site but also cleaning workers in charge of maintaining the station environment participated, which is expected to strengthen employees' prompt and accurate response capabilities in case of future emergencies.
