Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon will join Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, on a field visit to traditional markets in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province on the 21st.
Gyeonggi Province announced that Governor Kim Dong-yeon will accompany Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung on his field visits to Motgol Market and Yeongdong Market in Suwon from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM. The two will then hold a meeting with Lee Choong-hwan, president of the National Merchants Federation, and others at Yeongdong Market.
Governor Kim Dong-yeon's field visit on this day is reportedly at the request of the Democratic Party. A welcoming speech by Governor Kim is also scheduled during the merchants' meeting.

Kang Min-seok, spokesperson for Gyeonggi Province, said, "The meeting between the two on this day will be a symbolic occasion where Gyeonggi Province and the Democratic Party take care of the people’s economy, which President Yoon has almost neglected."
Meanwhile, after completing the field visit, Governor Kim Dong-yeon will travel to Seoul to meet with Jinwoo, the head monk of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism.
