Hoseo University Wins Gold Award and More at Interior Design Society Competition
Hoseo University in Asan, Chungnam, announced on the 19th that it received the Gold Prize and other awards at the Korea Institute of Interior Design (KIID) Theme Competition.
In this competition, which was open to university students nationwide, nine teams from the Department of Interior Design at Hoseo University won awards including the Gold Prize, Encouragement Prize, Special Selection, and Honorable Mention.
The work "VERTICAL SANCTUARY" by students Hwang Eun-chong, Kim Ga-yeon, and Lee Ga-young, which won the Gold Prize, depicted a future space where animals and humans coexist symbiotically.
Professor Cho Eungil, the supervising professor, said, "This year, our department is achieving outstanding results not only in the KIID competition but also in various other contests such as the Korea Interior Architecture Exhibition and the Universal Idea Competition."
