Jeonnam Office of Education Operates 'Student Education Allowance Usage Essay' Corner
Expectations for the Spread of an Autonomous Learning Culture
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 19th that it will open and operate a ‘Jeonnam Student Education Allowance Usage Essay’ section on its main website.
Launched on the 15th, this section is a platform where students record and share their experiences of independently planning their use of the student education allowance to explore career paths and achieve learning goals.
The Office of Education expects this platform to provide positive stimulation and inspiration among students and contribute to the spread of an autonomous learning culture. The Jeonnam Student Education Allowance Usage Contest, held last August, highlighted creative and meaningful cases of allowance use, receiving great responses.
The contest featured a total of 78 entries, including ▲ Dogok Elementary student’s “Growing My Dream and Happiness with the Jeonnam Student Education Allowance” ▲ Maean Elementary student’s “Thank You for Helping Me Spread My Dream” ▲ Yeodo Elementary student’s “Please Take Care of My Dream” ▲ Muan Happiness Elementary parent’s “Time to Find a Dream.”
Elementary students receiving the education allowance and their parents can write essays in the ‘Jeonnam Student Education Allowance Usage Essay’ section on the Office of Education’s website. Selected essays will receive a fixed manuscript fee, and outstanding cases will be widely shared.

We will spare no support so that many students can proactively design their dreams and learning through this section.”
