Responding to Population Decline and Supporting Startup Activation
Busan National University Startup Support Group (Director Kang Jeong-eun, Professor of Urban Engineering) signed an agreement with Seo-gu Office, Busan (Mayor Gong Han-su) on the 18th for the ‘Busan Seo-gu Youth Vitality Project’ at Seo-gu Office.
The two organizations will establish a cooperative system to successfully promote the project and revitalize youth entrepreneurship in the region.
This project is being carried out in Busan Seo-gu to prevent the outflow of young people and attract the resident population through support for youth startups, solving local problems, and supporting cultural activities.
Similar to Busan Seo-gu, the Busan National University Startup Support Group is striving to strategically discover local startup companies and support their business commercialization at each growth stage to revitalize youth entrepreneurship and create a startup ecosystem in the region.
This agreement was promoted to unite efforts for joint response by the public and academic sectors to the decline of the local youth population by providing education and support to project participating companies (organizations), supporting youth startup companies, and discovering prospective startups in the future.
