Im was recognized for her high level of interest and understanding of the police, including the enactment of the "Ordinance to Support Autonomous Police Affairs in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City."
The "Ordinance to Support Autonomous Police Affairs in Seo-gu," proposed by Im, attracted attention as the first ordinance enacted by an autonomous district in Gwangju to implement the autonomous police affairs, which were abruptly enforced in 2021, in accordance with the local circumstances of Seo-gu.
Im said, "While considering policies for the safety of local residents' lives, I felt the importance of the police's role even more," adding, "I enacted the 'Ordinance to Support Autonomous Police Affairs' to facilitate the smooth promotion of autonomous police affairs."
